Become a mobile architect.
Not just a mobile developer.

MAL is an application-only engineering lab for senior mobile engineers. Over five sessions you build one real, production-grade product — and walk out T-shaped: deep in one stack, fluent across the rest, grounded in the fundamentals that actually get you hired.

How it works

You don't attend MAL.
You build through it.

Speakers teach the decision, not the feature. Each architect builds their own app and levels it up every lab — learning the gaps, defending the trade-offs, shipping real code.

Everyone builds the same brief:
a hyperlocal marketplace with offline-first AI.

🧱

Deep, then broad

Go deep in your primary stack, fluent across the others — exactly the T-shape the market hires for.

🏛️

Decisions, not just code

Every lab you write an Architecture Decision Record. Reasoning is the artifact that separates an architect from a coder.

👥

Pods + mentors

You build individually but review in pods of 4–5 with a mentor architect — never stuck, never coasting.

Lab 1 — Flutter & Foundations

This isn't an intro-to-Flutter meetup. In one focused lab you lay the architectural foundation of the product and leave with a working skeleton and your first decisions on paper.

  • A walking skeleton of your app in Flutter
  • Your first ADR — a documented architecture decision
  • A clear path that continued into Lab 2
  • A spot in the cohort, if you keep shipping

Who should apply: mid-to-senior mobile engineers, tech leads, and technical founders ready to commit to the full series. Some Flutter familiarity helps — the focus is architecture and decisions, not syntax. Not for absolute beginners.
